You heard it here first – we are getting a Chick-fil-A in Nocatee!!

Keep reading for the October 2023 update! Yes, 3.5 years in the making, but I knew it first!

February 2020:

Likely, you came here for some kind of proof or fact, and I will keep adding them as I get them. Feel free to send me any information or rumors you have, because, well – we all NEED a Chick-fil-A here, right?

The first thought I had about the new restaurant was on Monday, February 10th, 2020. I saw a silver pick up with very light white lettering, “Chick-fil-A field vehicle” and I thought… COOL! I would love a Chick-fil-A (since, you know, we are in a deadzone and all). It was heading east on Preservation Trail. Definitely not a catering vehicle, or any vehicle I’ve seen before for the company.

The next day, Tuesday, February 11th, I saw the same vehicle in a similar area, at the round-a-bout, almost appearing like it was coming out of Starling. I got really excited about that, and started talking to friends and family about the possibility. My husband talked about it that night with friends at South Kitchen, and also received additional confirmation of Chick-fil-A activity in the area.

The last time I saw the mystical (and very much hopeful!) grey truck was on Wednesday, February 12th, driving again around the round-a-bout, apparently heading west on Preservation Trail.

October 2023:

Well friends & neighbors, it is now TRUE that Chick-Fil-A is coming! There is a service availability request with JEA currently for a 94 seat, 5,399-square-foot Chick-Fil-A on 2 acres. This will be located east of Crosswater Parkway, and south of Nocatee Parkway. Think, just north of Anejo. The plans show 62 seats inside, 32 seats on a patio, and a double drive through!
